Sumi Moktan debuted in Kollywood from the film ‘Dui Rupaiyaa”. She became popular from the film “Jhyanakuti“. Sumi is playing the role of the central character in the film Sarauto.
Sumi stresses that she does not want to take on the same roles in a movie. She says she likes to work on a variety of roles. In addition, she says “..actresses should not confine themselves in the same types of roles. It is time that actresses should work on decisive roles.”
True to her words, the movie Sarauto revolves around Sumi’s character.
