Nepal is a mountainous country. Some people also call Nepal as the country of Mount Everest. You got the idea. Nepal’s elevation ranges from just 60m from sea level to an outstanding 8,848 meters. I just want you to imagine how this altitude transformation takes place. This is the reason why trekking in Nepal is unlike in any other country.
There are thousands of trekking routes in Nepal. To help you choose the best one, here is a list, we prepared. However, it is not based on any particular order.
Everest Base Camp Trek
Well, this one hit my mind first. If you are into intense trekking, this is the one you should choose. Conquering Everest can be taken as the pinnacle of success but reaching the Everest Base Camp is also substantial. The best season is from March to May, and October to November.
Annapurna Trek
This trek lets you enjoy the scenes that include the views of Annapurnas, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri and Langtang. This is one of the most famous trekking routes in Nepal.
Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek
This trek is best taken during the spring season when the rhododendron are in full bloom. This trek is for those who enjoy light and short treks but still want to enjoy the views of high mountains
Langtang Trek
In addition to the views of some of the highest mountains, Langtang Trek takes you to some of the world’s best glaciers. Though this trek is not far from Kathmandu, it still looks wild, raw and natural.
Mustang Trek
if you want to explore rich Tibetan Culture and enticing landscape, this trek is for you. Mustang is a semi-arid desert hidden between snowy peaks. The Buddhist culture preserved in the villages are some of the oldest in the whole world. If you are spiritual type with ample determination, this trek is for you.
