Hike to Namobuddha

Namobudha is a beautiful Buddhist pilgrimage situated at the hilltop of Panauti (altitude of 2565m) in Kavre district. The Namobuddha viewpoint is known for the majestic view of Mt Everest, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal and the Langtang ranges.

There are many ways to complete this hike. Most people prefer the hike form Panauti to Namobudhha or Dhulikhel to Namobuddha. However, there are other starting options like Bakundebesi, Balthali, Dhamale, etc.

Hike to Shivapuri

Shivapuri lies to the north of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2563M. During this hike, you will walk through the shivapuri conservation area exploring the various flora and fauna of the region.

The hike starts from Budhanilkantha and passes through Nagi Gumpa following a steep uphill hiking trail for two and a half hours.

Hike to Champadevi

Champadevi lies at a altitude of 2285m south-west of kathmandu. This is a pligrimage site that holds both Buddhist stupa and Hindu shrines.

The hike to Champadevi starts at Pharping/Hattiban and follows a trail through a pine forested area. Along the hike, you will be able to enjoy the views of the central and western Himalayan ranges.

Hike to Nagarjuna

Nagarjuna is located north-west of Kathmandu. This hike is perfect for the people wh want to enjoy some peaceful moments in the arms of nature. Nagarjuna Hill holds historical importance, as it is belived that Acharya Nagarjuna lived in the cave in the hill and practiced meditation there.

The hike takes about 2 and a half hours.
