GOT S8 is probably one of the most awaited series finale season in all of history. Fans had been waiting for season 8 since August 2017 (2 years, FOLKS, 2 years!!).
However, it seems like the final season of this fantasy series has failed to meet the expectation of the viewers. Frustrated fans, have taken it to social media to express their fury and unhappiness with the work of the creators.
With such lackluster review of the final season, fans have now moved on to online petition. The petition launcher argues that, “David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material (i.e. the books) to fall back on.”
The petition launched earlier this week already had 220,709 signatures at the time of writing.
Meanwhile, the series finale will air this Sunday (19 May, 2019) at 9:00 pm.
