Sarangkot Hike

The sunrise and sunset from Sarangkot (1,500m) is something you should not miss if you are in the lake city of Pokhara. This short hike takes you through the charming villages and terrace farming lands in Pokhara.

The Saragkot viewpoint offers the most beautiful view of the entire Pokhara city along with breathtaking sunrise and sunset view of the mountains in the Annapurna region.

You can complete this hike in a day (around 3-4 hours). You can also choose to extend the hike to 2-3 days as:

World Peace Pagoda Hike

Another short hike you can enjoy around Pokhara is the hike to the World Peace Pagoda.

World Peace Pagoda, Pokhara

World Peace Pagoda is located in the hill above the Phewa Tal. Buddhist monks from Japanese Nipponzan Myohoji constructed this pagoda.

This hike takes you through the forest path following an upward trail leading to the stairs of the pagoda.
