Jomsom is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. The whole trek may take as long as five days. If you are into trekking, you should not miss Jomsom.
The whole trekking is organized around the Annapurna Massif. You will be moving from north to south.
The Annapurna Massif is only 40 km north of the most beautiful city in Nepal – Pokhara. In the north, you will be facing the arid zone, and that gradually changes to the sub-tropical in the south.
The trekking begins only after your flight ends at Jomsom, the headquarter of Mustang. From here you can enjoy and appreciate Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri peaks, as you travel from Jomsom to Kagbeni.
The trekking path follows the river beds. You will be passing through the world’s deepest gorge, Kali Gandaki. After reaching Kagbeni, you will be trekking to Muktinath. At the end of your trek, you will get back to Jomsom and fly to Pokhara.
