Swimming pools are cool. Not much people in our land locked country can swim let alone own a swimming pool. Simply put, we do not have enough water in Kathmandu for swimming pools. However, that does not mean that Kathmandu does not have swimming pools.
You might be surprised to know that there are rooftop swimming pools in Kathmandu. Here are two rooftop swimming pools that we know of.
Infinity Swimming Pool, Hotel Shambala
Hotel Shambala is located at Bansbari, and yes, the Infinity Pool is on the eighth floor. The pool covers 935 sq feet and is 3.5 feet deep.
Hotel Mulberry Infinity Pool
Hotel Mulberry is located at Thamel in Kathmandu. Thamel is the hub for tourists visiting Nepal. This pool is also located on the eighth floor and boasts of being the only outdoor pool at the crowded Thamel.
