Teej is a celebration of fasting in which women pray for marital bliss, well being of their spouse and children and purification of their own body and soul.
Teej is a festival celebrated by Nepali women, for the long life of their husband and long and firm relationship between them until the death in this life and all the lives yet to come. Teej falls on August or September.
