29 May. Kathmandu. In spite of vocal opposition and without the explicit permission of Nepal Government, U.S ambassador to Nepal, Randy Berry has started interacting with Nepalis on social media.
His first program kicked off on 27th May.
U.S embassy clarifies that Berry will be answering to questions about education and travel only. No political or controversial issues will be touched by the ambassador.
Berry has made it clear that his interaction will be held weekly in the form of video series named “GuffGaff with the Ambassador”. He is aiming to answer social media queries raised on the embassy’s social media platforms.
