May 20. Kathmandu. The office of the Auditor General (OAG) and the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) have raised serious concern for embezzlement of government funds by users’ groups.
The amount of embezzlement is thought to be at Rs. 100 billion.
This amount has gone to the pockets of local and district level political party leaders and clever village elites.
