May 14. Kathmandu. Today marks an important day in the mountaineering history. For the first time ever, Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu & Lhotse – all above 8,000 meters – were scaled on the same day.
The mountaineering guides were the first to reach on these peaks, they carried out the difficult task of fixing the climbing ropes so that it will help others who want to scale these peaks after them.
