Raveena Desraj Shrestha is the mother of Nepali actors Ayushman Joshi and Ashiram D Shrestha. She was born in Kathmandu and lives in Lalitpur, Nepal. Most of Raveena’s childhood life was spent in India.
She completed her secondary level from Dr Graham’s Homes in Kalimpong, Darjeeling and went to Modern Indian School for her high school degree. In modern school, she studied Economics, Political Science, History, Mathematics, and English. She has recently completed her Masters in Rural Development from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Raveena started her career as Trainee Assistant in Standard Chartered Bank and worked there for 13 years. Before switching to Nabil Bank, she is used to be Business Development Manager Position for the bank. Then, she worked as Chief Consumer Officer at Nabil Bank for more four years. Recently, she is working as Chief Business Officer and Corporate Affairs on Mega Bank Ltd. from February 2010.
