Rara Lake is the largest and deepest lake of Nepal. It is lies in Jumla and Mugu District in western part of Nepal. Rara Lake is known also as “Mahendra Taal”. Rara Lake is the main features of Rara National Park. It lies at an altitude of 2,990m (9,810ft) above the sea level.

Rara Lake is one of the beautiful place which is surrounded by green hills on all sides and covered with big greenery trees. Most of the people from Nepal and from other countries come to visit Rara Lake and Rara National Park.
