May 20. Kathmandu. Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) has revealed that the government may soon make helmet compulsory for pillion riders in Kathmandu.
This means both the driver and the pillion rider need to wear helmets.
What is worrying to many is – you can no longer just ask for a lift. You need a helmet just to sit besides your dad’s or friend’s bike.
