A candle is a burning material, often a thread, surrounded in wax, or another flammable material such as oil, that provides light as it burns and for the smell. A person who makes candles is called a chandler.
The candle is used to light in the birthday cake for their age and candlelight dinner. In Nepal and India candle is used in the Tihar festival for light in the night.
