Though the name “Ghamad Shere” contributed to media publicity, the character’s name “Shere” in this film is nowhere related to politician Sher Bahadur Deuba. But we must add that the movie does relate to the Nepali political arena.
As per the movie watcher, the movie is based on the lack of qualified officials in local government. In fact, in the confusion and mockery, the film builds on an innocent person who ends up filing a complaint against a river.
Like in most other Nepali films, there is romance in this movie as well. The romance, however, seems to be misplaced – the protagonist falls in love with his sister in law. The film is woven within these storylines. We do not want to spoil the fun – if these two stories seem attractive to you, please go and watch the movie.
