Mumbai Indians have done it again!!
Last night (13th May, 2019) Mumbai Indians faced off against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in an exhilarating final of the Indian Premier League 2019. Both the teams had won the tournament a total of 3 times each.
Mumbai Indians batted first setting a target of 150 runs. Chennai Super Kings needed only 9 runs in the last over to remain the IPL champions. However, with a sensational performance by Lasith Malinga , giving off only 7 runs in the last over, the Mumbai Indians were able to snatch the victory from CSK.
This is the fourth time MI and CSK faced off against each other in the IPL finals!!
