May 6. The Asian Development Bank has agreed to float Nepali Rupee -denominated bonds in the overseas market.
The total amount to be floated will be 500 million US Dollars. ADB was responding to the request from Finance Minister Yubaraj Khathiwada. The amount thus raised will be used in constructing new physical infrastructure in Nepal.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) is based in Manila and is a multilateral lending institution.
