President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has returned back to Nepal on Wednesday morning after shortening her official China tour.
After participating in the second meetings of Belt and Road (BRI) in Beijing, she met with important officials as a part of the tour. President Bhandari experienced some health issues due to the “high-altitude” on her way to Lhasa. As a result, she returned back to Nepal a day earlier.
President Bhandari was welcomed by Vice President Nand Bahadur, Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli, Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara and Chairperson of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina of National Assembly at Tribhuvan International Airport.
