Bishnu Poudel, who was found involved in the Baluwatar Land Case, has found his savior in Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli. At present, voices are being raised in the parliament demanding Mr. Poudel’s resignation.
The Prime Minister has addressed a meeting of the CPI (M) Parliamentary Party with the statement that Mr. Poudel is innocent. Oli said that Mr. Poudel hadn’t misused his powers as the land was bought during the rule of the King.
Oli has claimed that all the allegations against Mr. Poudel are nothing but a way to weaken the party and the government. The Prime Minister has asked for concrete evidence regarding these allegations.
Prime Minister Oli has further stated that he would not allow public land to be misused and would return to the government’s name.
