For the first time, taxi drivers in Kathmandu have started to use apps for providing their services.
The name of the app is Easy Taxi Nepal. It is currently available in the Android platform.
To make use of this app, the taxi riders need to register in the taxi app. The app will show the location of the rider and the potential rider needs to indicate the destination.
Once the destination of the customer is known, the cab drivers near the customer will recognize their service need and call them. After an agreement, the cab drivers will bring their cab to the customers.
We hope that this service will help tourists as the government has announced 2020 as Visit Nepal Year.
