May 17. Kathmandu. With extensive blackouts gone, it seems Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), is moving towards the right direction. Thanks to the Executive Director of NEA, Kulman Ghising and his team.

NEA added 30 MW units out of 60 MW produced from Upper Trishuli 3 ‘A’ to the national grid on 16th May.

Ghising has said this achievement means Nepal has to import less from India during dry season. He also shared that the water in the Kulekhani reservoir can now be saved for drier months.
