The Upendra Yadav led Federal Socialist Forum – Nepal (FSF-N) and Baburam Bhattarai led Naya Shakti Party-Nepal (NSP-N) have unified. The new party thus formed will be named Samajwadi Party Nepal.
As a result of this unification, the newly formed party will have 17 members in the Parliament. This is equal to the number of seats Rastriya Janata Party -Nepal, the
the third biggest party currently holds in the parliament.
The official announcement will be done tomorrow, 6th May 2019.
