A film is going to be made in the biography of Madhesh leader Dr. CK Raut. The film is going to be titled ‘Dr. CK Raut the Passion’. It will be based on 50 percent of Raut’s life story and 50 percent in the filmy story. It was informed at a press conference in Kathmandu that the movie is scheduled to be released in the upcoming Chhath festival. The Radhika International Movie is producing the film which will be presented by Bijeta Giri.
CK Raut, at a press conference, said: ‘A month and a half ago, when the film team tried to meet me, I did not believe it. But, after seeing the team’s enthusiasm for the making of the movie, I have also been positive.’ Santosh Shah is directing the film in his father’s investment. The successful Bhojpuri movie star Pardeshi Shah will play the role of CK Raut.
It was informed at a press conference that the film will be made at around 1.5 crores. The film will feature Dhruva Koirala, Pukar Bhattarai, Bishal Pahari, Kiran Thapa, and choreography will be by Pawan Gautam, cinematography by Rewant Bikram Thapa, Ramji Lamichhane and Ligesh Bhattarai.
