Huawei, a Chinese multinational company, has filed an application at the European Union (EU) Intelligent Property Office for trademark registration of its new operating system. Huawei has applied for registration of its new operating system called the Harmony brand.

Huawei’s new operating system will be used for both mobile and computer. A system it has been working on to replace Android. Company Chairman Liang Hua said that no decision has been made so far on developing Hongmeng/ARK as a smartphone operating system.
