15 May 2019. Kami Rita Sherpa has again made Nepal proud, by successfully scaling Mt Everest for the 23rd time today. The 49-year-old mountaineer holds the world record for the highest number of summits on Mt. Everest.
According to Mingma Sherpa, Company Chairman at Seven Summit Treks, Kami Rita Sherpa successfully reached the summit of Mt Everest at 7:50 am this morning, breaking his world record of 22 summits.
Kami Rita Sherpa first climbed the Mt. Everest in 1994. He has scripted history yet again, and his journey remains an inspiration to all the mountaineer in the world.
