May 15. Kathmandu. Republica has reported that the government plans to stop all land sales belonging to NGOs, INGOs, community and private organizations as well as those of consumer committees.
This ban will stand as long as the probes for land scams are not completed. The main aim of applying this ban is to stop illegal land sales to other individuals or organizations to avoid legal action.
