May 12. Kathmandu. PM Oli’s government had increased the bank guarantee of recruiting agencies to as high as Rs. 60 million, which had angered them.
Now, Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies is asking the government for interest on their deposits.
The government had amended Foreign Employment Act-2007 and revised the guarantee amounts based on the number of workers recruiters send to foreign countries annually.
