Samragyee studied at different schools. She started her schooling from St. Xavier’s school at Birgunj, then studied at Sai Baba School, Delhi and finally at Royal Academy in Kathmandu.
Samragyee started as a model. She became the runner-up in the Face of Classic Diamond Jewellers fashion competition.
Samragyee debuted in the film industry with – Dreams. Dreams was a romantic drama directed by Bhuwan KC. This film performed very well in the box office. From this same film, she won the Best Debut Actor title at Kamana Film Awards.
By now she has worked in different films that include A Mero Hahur 2, Mangalam, Timi Snaga, Kaira, Intu Mintu Londonma, Maruni and Rato Tika Nidharma.
