Can you believe it? A fashion show took place on Kala Patthar at an altitude of 5,644m and Guinness World Records recognized it as the “highest altitude fashion show on land.”

KASA style working with RB Diamond, along with Nepal Tourism Board and Visit Nepal Year 2020 secretariat organized this event. Models from Nepal, Finland, Italy, Sri Lanka, and Singapore took part.
So where did the organizers got their inspiration from? Well, they were concerned about the world climate change and wanted to raise awareness on this. Moreover, this event would also let tourists know the type of activities that they can pursue in Nepal. This event is and its timing is also important as Nepal is has kicked off Visit Nepal Year 2020 campaign.
The organizers wanted to draw the attention of the world to climate change so they made sure that their event did not add pollution to the Himalayas. They did so by using bio-degradable cloth materials, detergents and solar technology.
