Locals took over the Bouddha street on 9th April morning after authority failed to repair and maintain the Boudha-Jorpati road. The road has been on a fragile condition since past 5-7 years. Bouddha is a world heritage site, where hundreds of tourist visits every day. However, the bad road condition disappoints every visitors. It’s very difficult to pass by Boudha’s bumpy and dusty road. So, the enraged local protested and blocked the traffic demanding for the road improvement.
